The first time I saw this Laverda SF2 I wasn't sure what to think. Who would have someone paint an Italian beauty in such a way? Anyway, the short term goal is to see if its a runner. It may be up for sale after that. Not sure what to do about the paint. I was thinking about seeing if some paint stripper will lift the top layer to find the original paint underneath. I have my doubts though. Then again, I'm not sure I have the heart to try.

To take the painting off use EZ-Off oven cleaner in the spray can. I use this to remove lettering from truck doors and it doesn't normally damage the automotive paint underneath. This will work if the art was done with lettering enamel. I run a sign shop and this is what I would do. Laurent 12/09/2011 7:38am
